LYNYRD SKYNYRD HOPE TO TEAM UP WITH GEORGE JONES

Lynyrd Skynyrd's Ricky Medlocke has his way, the group's involvement in country music won't be limited to participating in last weekend's CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The band performed on Thursday (June 8th) at The Coliseum, but before they hit the stage, Medlocke told us of his hopes of recording with a true country legend. "We've written a song -- it's a Skynyrd tune. Skynyrd could do it because it rocks, but I swear to God George Jones could help sing it.
